Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support veterinary care for large animals as a PRN Pharmacist, providing expertise in a specialized pharmacy setting. This per diem position offers a structured Monday-to-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with initial shifts scheduled for November 12 and 19, and December 10 and 17.

Location:

• Mississippi State, MS

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Initial dates: Nov 12, 19; Dec 10, 17

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system
• Print labels for medications
• Collaborate with warehouse staff who fill the prescriptions
• Manage a high volume of approximately 100 scripts daily in a large animal veterinary pharmacy environment
• Complete one day of paid training prior to starting work

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Mississippi (MS License required)
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, retail experience accepted
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing
• Comfortable working in a veterinary pharmacy setting
