Warehouse AssociateIndustrial Local Tulsa Company looking for a Warehouse Associate!! JOB SUMMARY: Seeking a warehouse and shipping clerk. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all inventory entering and leaving the company's warehouse. This could include creating shipping documents, such as invoices and purchase orders, monitoring inventory from the shelves and operating a forklift.RESPONSIBILITIES:Inventory controlCycle counting and overall material managementAll shipping and receiving duties, including documentation, bills of landing, etc.Perform visual quality checksOperate and monitor equipment such as forklifts, powered hand tools, and overhead cranesPerform general manual labor tasks including lifting, pulling, carrying, sweeping, cleaning, and moving materialsKeep management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate informationOrganize inventory within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated locationAbility to liftMaintain safe and clean work environmentExperience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailAbility to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standingExperience using a forklift is requiredVerify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to order and ensuring all goods are in acceptable conditionVerifying quantities of all incoming and outgoing packages and piecesWork overtime as neededMaintain clean, safe, and organized work areas including outside material storage areas/yards, and production floorsParticipate in daily safety meetings and safety committees/initiativesTrain, guide, and assist co-workers as neededManage physical and cycle inventory counts, track supplies and submit requests when neededRead and interpret fabrication drawings, production manuals, and work instructionsFollow all company principles, safety rules, and regulatory standardsPerform other duties as required or assignedREQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years' experience with inventory MRP systems, Excel, Word, EmailMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial warehouse environmentExperience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other mobile/heavy equipment is preferred but not requiredAbility to read or learn to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and verify dimensional requirements2 years' Inventory control and cycle counting experienceBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required for material calculationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team with strong dependability and attendance
