About the Role
The Company is seeking an SBA Program Director to lead the daily operations, business development, and strategic growth of its SBA lending function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that SBA loans are originated, structured, underwritten, closed, serviced, and monitored in compliance with SBA requirements, company policy, and regulatory standards. This role requires a leader with a strong background in commercial lending, particularly in SBA 7(a) lending, and a proven track record in team leadership and business development. The SBA Program Director will also be instrumental in shaping and executing the SBA strategy, guiding portfolio growth, and strengthening the program's lending capabilities. Candidates for the SBA Program Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of commercial lending experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within SBA 7(a) lending. The role demands a deep understanding of SBA lending requirements, sound credit judgment, and the ability to promote clear processes and strong internal coordination. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style, high integrity, and a commitment to building a sustainable SBA lending program. Experience with SBA industry relationships and formal credit training is preferred. The SBA Program Director will lead and manage the SBA department, providing coaching, development, and support to team members in the execution of the company's SBA lending strategy.
