About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: ACLS Certification Comfortable performing conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist. Description: The purpose of this position is to provide patient care during interventional radiology procedures. You will monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures. This role requires working closely with technologists and other nurses to care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:1. You will be part of an on-call rotation with other nurses. Preferred experience includes working in an interventional radiology or Cath lab setting. A history of working in an emergency department or intensive care unit is also beneficial. Equipment used in this role includes Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ US machines. You will be provided with light blue surgery scrubs, which are supplied by the facility. The ideal candidate will be confident and comfortable working in a group setting. This position is essential to ensure the highest quality of care for patients requiring invasive radiology procedures.
