Kitchen Associate

Position Overview Kumo’s Kitchen Associates are responsible for preparing and assembling food with consistency, speed, and care while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys food, takes pride in quality execution, and understands that even simple dishes should be prepared thoughtfully and consistently every time. At Kumo’s, we believe great hospitality extends into the kitchen. We are looking for team members who care about presentation, cleanliness, teamwork, and creating a positive experience for every guest and family visiting the space. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipe and portion standards Operate kitchen equipment including fryers, ovens, and prep stations Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies throughout shifts Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Communicate with front-of-house staff to maintain efficient order flow Assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen cleaning tasks Support overall guest experience through speed, consistency, and teamwork Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Passion for food and pride in delivering quality, consistent meals Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light to moderate items Food service experience preferred but not required What We Look For Team players who stay calm under pressure Individuals who take pride in cleanliness and consistency Staff who care about creating a positive experience for families and children People who can follow systems and execute with attention to detail Individuals who enjoy cooking and take ownership in the quality of their work Position Details Part-time and full-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays Training provided Growth opportunities into Shift Lead and Senior Kitchen Associate roles About Kumo’s Wanderland Kumo’s Wanderland is a next-generation family experiential center designed to bring together immersive play, hospitality, and community under one roof.
