Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.**POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT**Moss Energy is seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to support the startup and delivery of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This role is responsible for executing commissioning activities across electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient project energization.**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Perform testing and commissioning of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including inverters, and power distribution equipment* Execute NETA-based testing (Megger (insulation resistance), VOC Testing, VLF, TTR) to validate system performance and integrity* Support system startup, energization, and troubleshooting of both AC and DC components on solar and BESS projects* Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams to verify installation and resolve field issues* Coordinate with construction, and SCADA teams to ensure proper system integration and communication* Document commissioning activities, test results, and turnover packages in accordance with project and industry standards* Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, electrical codes, and site requirements* Implement, control and execute energy isolation procedures (LOTO)**EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE*** Experience commissioning electrical systems in solar, BESS, or utility/industrial projects* Strong knowledge of electrical testing methods and equipment* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and control logic* Hands-on troubleshooting and field execution experience* Willingness to travel to project sites as needed**JOB TITLE:** COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN**JOB LOCATION:** MULTI-STATE REQUIRES HIGH TRAVEL**CLASSIFICATION:** FULL TIME – EXEMPT – SALARIED**REPORTS TO:** COMMISSIONING DIRECTORMoss is an equal opportunity employer.
