Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs thoroughly and create individualized treatment strategies that empower them to accomplish their goals
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ therapeutic methods rooted in research to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and engagement in daily activities
• Partner with Multidisciplinary Teams: Forge strong collaborations with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and care teams to provide comprehensive healthcare
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on effective therapy techniques that facilitate ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Continuously monitor outcomes and adapt therapies accordingly, ensuring patients are on the right path

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Continuous education and additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
