Utility Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to manage and lead a crew of construction workers on our projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and hands-on experience in underground wet utility installation and maintenance. This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. This person will be traveling to jobsites in Broken Arrow, OK.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead a crew of construction workers, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progressOversee installation, repair, maintenance of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm, etc.)Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of qualityEnsure that all crew members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standardsCommunicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budgetDevelop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlinesTrain crew members on safety procedures and best practicesManage project resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectivelyIdentify and resolve issues that arise during construction projectsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training preferred5+ years of heavy civil underground utility construction experience, including water, sewer, and storm drainage installationPrevious experience in a leadership roleStrong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a teamExcellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiencesStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvementExperience with government contracts and compliance is a plusMust be willing to travel to project sites in and around Broken Arrow, OKEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
