Corporate Restructuring Associate (2-5 yrs) - Chambers-Ranked Practice

About the Position:

Our client, a renowned international law firm, has an active need for a corporate restructuring attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm’s restructuring practice advises distressed companies, their boards and management, and creditors, lenders, investors, and buyers on in- and out-of-court restructurings, insolvency issues, and distressed debt trading, with a strong focus on liability management and contingency planning to help clients preserve value through financial crises.

Responsibilities:

· Represent debtor companies in both in-court and out-of-court restructuring matters

· Advise clients on liability management transactions

· Counsel lenders and creditors across a range of restructuring and distressed situations

Required Qualifications:

· 2-5 years of restructuring experience, covering both in-court and out-of-court matters

· Significant company-side experience, plus exposure to liability management and lender/creditor work

· Restructuring experience at a large law firm

· Strong academic credentials

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000 - $365,000.
