RN – Perioperative Services – Surgical (Epic)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient operating room workflow
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines
• Support Epic system conversion activities as part of an EMR backfill initiative

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current, hands-on Epic EMR experience
• Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
• Demonstrated operating room or perioperative nursing experience
• Each position listed in work history must include the charting system used; if multiple EMR systems were used in a single role, date ranges for each system must be provided
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held a staff employee position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supporting or working through an Epic EMR implementation or conversion
• Familiarity with surgical specialty environments and scrub or circulator roles
