A little about this position: Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Hotel, including Front Desk, Guest Services, and Housekeeping. Responsible for maintaining Westin brand standards. Assumes duties of the General Manager in the GM’s absence. Responsible for financial, employee, and guest service goals for the hotel. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Resort Management preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel/resort management, with at least three (3) years in a leadership role within the rooms division. Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and reservations operations. Proficient Spanish speaking is strongly preferred. Proven track record in the hospitality industry and direct guest service organizations Strong working knowledge of business software with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Lightspeed. Professional demeanor, attitude, and appearance. Strong work ethic. Ability to effectively communicate to guests, employees, and management. Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines. Ability to solve problems using common sense and hotel policy. Demonstrates strong leadership skills.
