Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a FL or compact license and at least one year of travel nursing experience. Details Care for complex patients including post open heart, post TAVR, and post pacemaker cases Manage drip titrations, chest tubes, and BiPAP therapy 13-week contract with 36-48 hour work weeks acceptable Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15 Every other weekend required Requirements Active RN license (FL or Compact) required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct care to complex cardiac and respiratory patients in a fast-paced stepdown environment Local candidates accepted, though may qualify for a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility COVID-19 vaccination is not required First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they meet the minimum experience requirements These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
