Job Opportunity: PRN Respiratory Therapist

Our organization is looking for a PRN Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional respiratory care for patients in acute and critical conditions. This per-diem position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

• Evaluate, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments.
• Manage ventilators and perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a patient-centered and team-oriented environment.

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Experience in acute and critical care settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as it is a per-diem position. You will be expected to work in various settings within the hospital, responding to the needs of patients and the healthcare team.
