Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description

This position involves operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing facility, focusing on precision and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Run a cell of 2-3 lathes efficiently.

• Grab bar stock and load it into the machine.

• Operate CNC and HOB machines.

• Perform minor quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience with CNC operations, including mill or lathe.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Ability to perform minor quality control tasks.

• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience in making minor offsets.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit facility on the first shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Expect to work between 40 to 45 hours per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
