Our culture is built on integrity, team pride, expertise, respect, and a relentless drive for continuous improvement.This position is 2nd shift - scheduled Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am.Position Description:The Production Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for driving performance, engagement, and accountability across all production areas (Saw, Machining, Welding, Assembly, etc.). This role ensures work flows efficiently, schedules are met, and employees are supported, coached, and motivated to perform at a high level. This individual is not just managing production, they are leading people, removing barriers, and keeping operations moving seamlessly from one process to the next.Primary ObjectiveLead and motivate the team to achieve daily production, quality, and safety goalsEnsure on-time completion of work orders across all departmentsDrive consistent workflow and material readiness so employees can stay productiveMaintain high standards for product quality and adherence to prints/BOMsFoster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented cultureKey Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and motivate employees to meet production, quality, and safety expectations while fostering a positive, accountable team environmentCoordinate and monitor daily production across Saw, Machining, Welding, and Assembly to ensure schedules are met and work flows efficiently between departmentsProactively remove bottlenecks, anticipate needs, and ensure materials are staged and ready so employees can remain productiveSupport workflow by assisting with material handling and forklift operation as needed to maintain continuous productionEnsure all products meet print specifications, BOM requirements, and established quality standards, including proper inspection processesEnforce and model adherence to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environmentTrain, mentor, and develop employees, including conducting performance reviews and providing ongoing feedback and accountabilityOversee accurate documentation (timekeeping, BOMs, prints) and utilize systems to track and support production performanceAssist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance coordination as neededIdentify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall departmental performancePerform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing strongly preferredMachining or production experience in a related industry preferredStrong ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountableExperience managing schedules and workflow in a production environmentForklift operation/material handling experienceAbility to understand prints, BOMs, and measuring equipmentMechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using computer systems and production softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsAligns with company Core Values: Integrity, Aggressive, Team Pride, Expertise, and RespectPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyAbility to be on feet and active throughout shiftFull time employees are eligible for the following benefits:Medical insurance through Medica + free in-home acute health care and on-job site health care through Nice for those enrolled on company's medical plan.100% employer paid Health Partners Dental insurance for single and family (if enrolled on medical plan).100% employer paid premiums for Short Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and $50,000 life insurance policy.401KAdditionally, full-time employees receive competitive Paid Time Off*Compensation is dependent on a candidates skills and experience.* Below identifies an anticipated hiring range which includes shift differential:
