Senior Manufacturing Engineer

job summary:
A Senior Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization to lead the planning and evaluation of automation robotics and facility expansion projects. The Senior Manifesting Engineer will oversee process design, equipment specification, standardization, and lead-time reduction for new product launches.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent technical experience) and have at least two years of manufacturing project management experience. Qualified applicants will possess proficiency in CAD software, specification development, and resolving project constraints. Experience with automation or robotics is preferred. This is a long-term contract, and our client is only seeking local talent currently.

responsibilities:

• Evaluate equipment project proposals, process capability assessments, and layout designs

• Lead the implementation and cross-plant standardization of equipment strategies

• Develop and refine equipment specifications, ensuring CoHE compliance and operational consistency across facilities

• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate project status, milestones, and key performance indicators

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as subject matter expert in technologies and automation systems
