Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Looking for a cath lab scrub tech to provide essential support during a scheduled vacation coverage. The role involves assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the catheterization lab and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for procedures.
• Assist physicians and nurses during cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and monitor infection control protocols throughout patient care.
• Manage and document supplies, ensuring accurate inventory and restocking as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and assist in troubleshooting equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a surgical tech or radiology tech preferred.
• Previous experience in a cath lab or EP lab setting highly desirable.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and cardiovascular procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure within a team environment.
