As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Documentation in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and screening activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. Use clear communication and sound judgment while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and noteworthy observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
