Senior Angular DeveloperPrimary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Senior Angular Developer with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.Pay: $65.00 - $75.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.Description: We are seeking a Senior Angular Developer to lead the development of our next-generation Angular application. This role is critical for translating complex business requirements into an intuitive, brand-compliant user interface while serving as the technical bridge between design, product, and backend teams.Key Responsibilities:Angular Application Development: Architect and develop a greenfield Angular application from the ground up, establishing best practices, component libraries, and scalable patternsComplex Business Logic Implementation: Translate intricate business rules and requirements into robust frontend logic, ensuring data consistency and proper state management across the applicationDesign Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect designs while maintaining code quality, performance, and accessibility standardsBrand & Compliance Standards: Ensure all UI implementations adhere to brand guidelines, design systems, and compliance requirements throughout the application lifecycleCross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with backend developers (AWS PHP Lambda), business stakeholders, and product teams to ensure seamless front-to-back feature deliveryStyling & CSS Architecture: Implement scalable, maintainable CSS/SCSS solutions with a deep understanding of responsive design, CSS architecture patterns, and performance optimizationCode Quality & Documentation: Establish and maintain high code quality standards, write comprehensive documentation, and mentor team members on best practicesRequired Skills & Experience:Angular Expertise: 5+ years of professional Angular development experience with deep knowledge of components, services, RxJS, routing, and state managementTypeScript Proficiency: Strong command of TypeScript including advanced patterns, type systems, and modern ES standardsCSS Mastery: Advanced CSS/SCSS skills including layout systems (Flexbox, Grid), responsive design, performance optimization, and CSS architecture patterns (BEM, SMACSS, or similar)Greenfield Development: Proven experience architecting and building applications from scratch, establishing folder structures, build configurations, and development workflowsBusiness Acumen: Ability to understand complex business requirements, ask clarifying questions, and translate them into technical solutionsAPI Integration: Strong experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs, understanding REST principles and asynchronous data handlingTesting & Quality Assurance: Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, or similar) and commitment to writing testable, maintainable codeCommunication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to bridge design, product, and engineering perspectivesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS services and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)Knowledge of PHP backend systems and how they integrate with frontend applicationsFamiliarity with design systems and component library developmentExperience with state management solutions (NgRx, Akita, or similar)Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principlesPrior experience with brand compliance and design systems enforcementKnowledge of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, bundling, change detection optimization)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment strategiesNice-to-Have Skills:Exposure to design tools (Figma, Adobe XD) for closer collaboration with designersUnderstanding of UX principles and user-centered design thinkingFamiliarity with animation libraries and interactive UI patternsPrimary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
