Teachers Aide Temporary Full-Time, St. Paul, MN, US 11 days ago Requisition ID: 2327 Salary Range: $17.00 To $19.00 Hourly About the Role Join a passionate early childhood education team at the Wilder Child Development Center in making a positive impact on families through a whole family focus. As a valued team member, you will actively work and participate with our team of teachers and staff to provide support and services to children and their families, serving as a role model for children; guide diverse children using a strengths‑based, culturally relevant approach that supports the whole family; support the development and implementation of plans for activities, events, and projects that align with Wilder’s strategy and CDC’s goals; and help maintain an incredible experience and environment that’s clean, welcoming, and accessible for children and their families such as light housekeeping, laundry, occasional meal prep, and cleanup. You will be expected to complete the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential after hire. The CDC provides full financial support for obtaining this credential. Qualifications A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of six (6) months of experience working with a diverse group of toddlers, young children, and their families. Fluency in English is required (additional languages are a plus). Current First Aid and CPR certification. Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, health, safety, security, and privacy at all times. Friendly, inclusive, and respectful attitude toward people from all backgrounds, approaching others with empathy and care. Self‑motivated and able to work independently while seeking clarification when needed; efficient, organized, and able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
