Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Corporate Incentives Of Counsel to join its New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience advising domestic and international companies on expansion or relocation in the US, and negotiating economic development incentives. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a global client base.
Duties
- Advise companies on developing corporate headquarters and facilities.
- Identify and negotiate discretionary economic development incentives.
- Mentor junior associates within the team.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD)
Certifications
- Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of application.
Skills
- Superior research and analytical skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
