Job Summary

This position is responsible for marketing new labor business using a diverse number of selling methods, managing a block of complex/high revenue accounts to meet retention targets, acting as a point of contact for strategic and technical issues and serving as point person between HCSC, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, system vendors, and fund offices in resolving inquiries.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in managed care Account Management or health insurance State General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license or obtain General Lines Agent Life, Health, and HMO license within required time frame per state regulations Verbal and written communication skills to compose communications, negotiate with client groups, prepare and facilitate presentations Business relationship building experience Consensus building and conflict management skills Knowledge of marketing and sales techniques Knowledge of managed care products, industry and trends PC proficiency to include MS Office products

Preferred Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Health Care Administration or Finance Knowledge of HCSC systems (BlueCHIP, BlueSTAR, CRM) Project management skills Experience and understanding of labor unions and Taft-Hartley Welfare Funds Knowledge of county and state political environment and key players in state of operations

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range

$66,400.00 - $99,600.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
