General Production Worker - Up to $23.50 HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for the daily activities of the production line, ensuring that products adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and throughput. Your role will include accurately completing quality and production reports on an hourly basis and conducting physical and visual inspections of products to prevent non-conforming goods. You will report all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership, maintaining adherence to company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations. Additionally, you will abide by Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Standards, maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production, and ensure an appropriate level of raw materials to minimize production downtime. You will also demonstrate the aptitude to work in all assigned areas of production, troubleshoot minor production line issues, and perform relief duties as required. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, and you must be able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as dictated by production demand.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product adheres to safety, quality, and throughput standards.

• Complete quality and production reports hourly.

• Conduct physical and visual inspections of products.

• Report quality defects to team members and leadership.

• Follow safety programs and regulations.

• Maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Standards.

• Keep production areas clean and organized.

• Maintain raw material levels to avoid downtime.

• Work in assigned areas and troubleshoot minor issues.

• Perform relief duties as required.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, plastics, packaging, and inspection.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating schedule. ( A/B Shift - 7:00 am-7:30 pm - $22.50/hr & C/D Shift - 7:00 pm-7:30 am $23.50/hr. 2/2/3 rotating shifts- A/B/C/D shifts).

• Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Experience in beverage/bottling manufacturing or plastics is a plus.

• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean with good GMP practices in place, housed in a newer building. Employees work on rotating shifts with Tuesday orientations for all shifts followed by on-the-job training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
