Ecommerce Operations ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify-based ecommerce business. This is a hands-on operational leadership role for someone who understands the complete ecommerce lifecycle, from order placement and fulfillment through customer service, returns, reporting, and process improvement. The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO and be responsible for ensuring the ecommerce operation runs efficiently, accurately, and at scale.Ecommerce & Shopify OperationsManage Shopify Plus administration and daily store operationsOversee product setup, promotions, integrations, and order managementTroubleshoot operational issues and support launches and campaignsEnsure store accuracy, functionality, and operational excellenceFulfillment & LogisticsMonitor order flow from purchase through deliveryCoordinate with warehouses, 3PLs, and fulfillment partnersResolve fulfillment exceptions, shipping issues, returns, and exchangesMonitor inventory and proactively address operational challengesCustomer ExperiencePartner with customer service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experienceOptimize Gorgias workflows, automations, and escalationsIdentify recurring customer issues and implement process improvementsReporting & PerformanceTrack and report key ecommerce KPIs, including:Order volumeFulfillment performanceShipping and delivery issuesReturns and refundsCustomer service metricsInventory and operational exceptionsUse Google Sheets and/or Excel to provide actionable business insightsProcess ImprovementDocument workflows and create SOPsImprove operational processes and automationReduce manual effort and increase efficiencyDevelop scalable systems, controls, and reporting capabilitiesRequired Experience5+ years of ecommerce operations experienceStrong hands-on Shopify or Shopify Plus experienceExperience managing fulfillment, logistics, inventory, returns, and customer service operationsExperience with Gorgias and ecommerce integrationsAdvanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or ExcelStrong KPI reporting and data analysis skillsExperience working in remote, fast-paced ecommerce environmentsPreferred ExperienceApparel, merchandise, retail, sports, or DTC brandsEcommerce launches, product drops, peak-volume periods, or rapidly growing businessesWhat We're Looking ForHighly organized and detail-orientedAccountable and dependableProactive problem solverData-driven and operationally mindedCustomer-focusedStrong communicatorComfortable working independently and directly with a CEOSuccess in This RoleWithin the first few months, you will:Take ownership of Shopify operations and fulfillment oversightImprove operational visibility through KPI reportingStrengthen processes and documentationReduce operational escalations requiring CEO involvementIdentify and implement efficiency improvements across the ecommerce ecosystem
