Production Technician

• You will follow safe work permit processes, policies, and procedures
• Ensure safety and hazard recognition is implemented through the Hazardous Work Permit (HWP) process
• Identify, develop and incorporate LOTOs as required
• Understand and ensure compliance with all Linde and governmental Environmental Permits, Regulations, and Policies
• Understand the theoretical aspects of the air separation process and adjust controls towards achieving desired flows, pressures, and purities
• Understand Production KPIs and work towards achieving goals included in individual performance rating
• Further, perform troubleshooting on equipment/process upsets and restart plants as needed
• Ensure customer quality requirements are met for ALL products by maintaining analyzers and Linde Quality Assurance Program (QAP)
• Utilize the EAM Maintenance program to maintain compliance in areas covered by CMMS
• Read and Understand P&ID and control loop input-output logic
• Assist in the training and development of new employees
• Follow all SMP, SOP, COP, OSS, OPS alerts and Technical Bulletins
• Also, ensure all responsibilities are performed in accordance with applicable safety, operational, quality, and environmental requirements.

• You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates in Applied Sciences Degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred
• Motivated, self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Relevant computer and technical skills
• Moreover, you must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license
• You are able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e., lift 50 pounds and climb stairs and ladders
• Work in tight and closed spaces
• Wear all required personal protective equipment
