Join our culture of caring and make a positive and lasting impact on health care for millions.\n\nThis position serves the patients, providers and other support staff by performing tests using the appropriate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-rays and performing routine diagnostic procedures as directed by providers.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\n\n Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking X-rays following established procedures\n Instructs patients regarding procedures\n Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment\n Selects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis\n Examines radiologic images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion\n Insures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor\n Processes routine paperwork\n Maintains patient confidentiality\n Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations\n Maintains strictest confidentiality\n Performs other duties as assigned\n\n\nYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (2+ years) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT\n Current Oregon license in diagnostic radiography\n Current certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)\n Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification\n\n\nPreferred Qualification:\n\n Experience with an electronic medical record system\n\n\nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment.
