Travel RN Neuro Med-Surg Mission Hospital Memorial Campus | Asheville, NC

= Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

< Unit: 6 West Neurosciences (6A Tower)
= EMR: Cerner

• Work on a dedicated 36-bed Neurosciences/Med-Surg unit
• Join a collaborative team with strong CNA and HUC support
• Care for a diverse neurological patient population
• Modern facility using Cerner EMR
• Great opportunity for RNs with neuro or stroke experience

• 36-bed Neuro Med-Surg Unit
• Standard Med-Surg equipment
• Team-oriented, supportive work environment

Day Shift

• 1 Charge RN
• 6 RNs
• 3 CNAs
• 1 HUC

Night Shift

• 1 Charge RN
• 6 RNs
• 2 CNAs
• 1 HUC

• Typical: 5:1
• High Census:
  • Days: Up to 6:1
  • Nights: Up to 7:1

• Active RN License
• ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)

• Neuro/Neuroscience experience

• Neurological patient care
• IV insertion
• Foley catheter insertion
• General Medical-Surgical nursing
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

• Floating may be required to other Medical-Surgical units within the facility based on patient care needs.

• Every other weekend required

• Navy Blue Scrubs
