Travel RN Neuro Med-Surg Mission Hospital Memorial Campus | Asheville, NC

= Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801

< Unit: 6 West Neurosciences (6A Tower)
= EMR: Cerner

Standard Med-Surg equipment
Team-oriented, supportive work environment

Staffing

Day Shift

1 Charge RN
6 RNs
3 CNAs
1 HUC

Night Shift

1 Charge RN
6 RNs
2 CNAs
1 HUC

Patient Ratios

Typical: 5:1
High Census:
- Days: Up to 6:1
- Nights: Up to 7:1

Qualifications Required

Active RN License
ACLS Certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)

Preferred

Neuro/Neuroscience experience

Skills

Neurological patient care
IV insertion
Foley catheter insertion
General Medical-Surgical nursing
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Floating

Floating may be required to other Medical-Surgical units within the facility based on patient care needs.

Schedule

Every other weekend required

Dress Code
