Job Title

RN Flex Pool – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float between multiple medical and surgical units including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios (ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment)
• Utilize facility EMR system, Pyxis medication dispensing, wound vacs, and chest tubes as part of routine patient care
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training programs upon assignment to each unit
• Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) in accordance with facility dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience (up to 10 years preferred)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC certification preferred
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment preferred
