Medical, dental, and vision coverage and a retirement plan are offered!What to expect as a Commercial Security Technician:Competitive pay, benefits, company vehicle, and travel expenses paidSupport Key Accounts of the Security teamRemote Support of systems we support / serviceAssist in presale design layout and scope of work.Complete the final design / bill of material once the job or work order is sold.Work with other team members to review and prepare shop drawings and submittalsAssist Project managers from the office with items such as but not limited to: Release of and receiving of material and staging in the warehouseBilling and collectionsOperation & Maintenance ManualsWarranty CertificatesClose out of the project in Spectrum / SharePointAssist in field with items such as but not limited to: Job site visits / walk through / Technical assistance for installation teamProgramming or start-up of systemsTraining of End UserInstallation of electrical wiring, panels, cable and security devicesAssist with Service as requiredTraining of other techniciansMaintain the corporate Office Security systems & Demo EquipmentAssist the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipmentResponsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installationInstall, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, etc.)Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codesDemonstrate core values as a highly skilled leader on the Installation TeamManage several medium to large jobs simultaneously and doing so within approved hours and margin tolerancesDrive to client sites, with a company issued vehicle, to perform the system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively and meets contract requirementsCompletes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managerWhat knowledge and skills are required:A High School Degree or equivalent is requiredMinimum 2-3 years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry installing field devices, programming systems, and running medium to large sized jobs requiredExperience with any or all of the following preferred: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, Genetec or ONSSIFactory Certifications in some of the above mentioned products preferredPossess or has the ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired (Low Voltage D license, Alarm Installer Lic. etc.)Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-based environment with minimum directionGood communication skills for effective interaction with internal & external customersStrong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitudeMust be detail-oriented and organizedMust possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in the last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.Ability to deliver product familiarization training to end-usersStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Project)Ability and track record of successfully deploying IP video solutionsPossess general working knowledge of network architectureOvernight travel may be required on an as-need basisBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision benefitsEnrollment in our company's 401 (k) subject to eligibility requirementsEight paid holidays annually2 Weeks paid vacation (Accrued during year 1 and increasing after year 5)Company-provided computer
