Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician (Floor Technician) - Full Time Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Every other weekend required: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- Overtime, holidays, and additional weekend hours may be required based on business needs.
- Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Pick and pull medications from shelving and other medication storage areas.
- Label, scan, and prepare prescription medications for pharmacist verification.
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy checks.
- Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan properly.
- Assist with processing returned medications and recycling or disposal procedures.
- Support pre-packaging of frequently ordered medications during low-volume periods.
- Package medications and products manually according to established procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and replenish necessary supplies.
- Follow all applicable company policies and government regulations, including HIPAA requirements.
- Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work at a moderate pace while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Active and unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Experience working in a high-volume pharmacy or medication fulfillment environment.
- Familiarity with medication packaging, labeling, and scanning processes.
