We're hiring a CNC Lathe Machinist to join a high-precision manufacturing team producing critical components where accuracy isn't optional. This role is centered around setup expertise, machining precision, and craftsmanship -not just running parts.

No advanced programming required. You'll work from proven programs, making offset adjustments and minor edits as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC lathes (horizontal and/or multi-axis)
• Machine precision parts to tight blueprint tolerances
• Perform independent setups, tool changes, and changeovers
• Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling as needed
• Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure part quality
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation (5S standards)
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of hands-on CNC lathe experience
• Experience performing independent setups
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with multi-axis or live tooling lathes
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls
• Experience with Nakamura or similar turning centers
• Background in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing
• Exposure to ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality systems
