GEO2- Geologist 2

Job Title: GEO2- Geologist 2 Location: Vincent AL (Onsite) Skills and Responsibilities 4-Year degree in related field or 3-10 years of related experience Experience in installing groundwater and surface water instrumentation systems in and around dams, levees and CCR sites for the collection of real-time data collection/performance monitoring Instrumentation and maintenance will include – inclinometers, water quality equipment (pH, ORP, DO, turbidity, conductivity), portable solar battery charging stations and cellular and satellite communication systems Experience in executing field investigations utilizing various drilling methods and resources Experience with soil and rock logging, monitoring well construction, groundwater monitoring, and field data reporting 4. Experience in providing technical and safety oversight to drilling contractor and consultants Special Notes Typical Worker/Geologist work week is 4, 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) with some 10 day shifts. Extensive travel throughout the southeastern United States mainly Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. #J-18808-Ljbffr
