12V Wiring Technician for Work Truck Body Installs

Established in 1963, our company in Blue Earth, MN, specializes in manufacturing and installing steel, aluminum, and fiberglass truck bodies and hoists for various industries, including municipal, agriculture, construction, landscaping, and utilities. We are seeking a skilled 12V Wiring Technician for Work Truck Body Installs. This full-time role involves installing truck bodies such as flatbeds, dump bodies, and service bodies, with a focus on 12V electrical systems. Responsibilities

• Install and wire 12V electrical systems for truck bodies, ensuring all components are powered correctly.
• Work with specifications, design criteria, and blueprints to perform installations and modifications.
• Utilize a variety of hand, air, and power tools for assembly processes, including bolting, riveting, welding, and hucking.
• Manage priorities and workflow efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm and maintain high standards of work quality.
• Operate forklifts and receiving tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in truck up-fitting and 12V electrical systems.
• Advanced knowledge of wiring and harnesses for chassis components.
• Understanding of build-outs and in-field applications related to work truck bodies and hoists.
• Physical ability to lift and stretch as part of the job duties.
• Versatility and flexibility in handling various tasks and responsibilities.
• Welding experience and forklift experience are a plus.
