Job Summary:
Surgical Technologist Decorah, Iowa. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment at a community-focused facility. The role involves assisting surgical teams across various specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, and dental. The position requires flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to patient care excellence.
Job Details:
- Location: Decorah, Iowa
- Schedule: Primarily 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; hours may fluctuate slightly based on surgical case load (as early as 6:00 a.m.).
- Certifications and Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred; State of Iowa mandatory reporter training completion.
- Experience: 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist required; minimum of 0 years required.
- Additional Information: Position includes on-call rotation, approximately one night per every two-week pay period, and every fifth to sixth weekend. Holiday call rotation is also included.
- Shift Hours and Hours Per Week: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
