Marketing Services & Support Assistant | $18.00 per hour | Monday–Friday – 8 am to 5 pm / Contract| Onsite

Job Summary:

Large Insurance Company in NW Houston is looking for a Marketing Services and Support Specialist who will assist the Marketing department with customer inquiries and miscellaneous marketing duties, including heavy lifting and bending.
Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and greet visitors.
• Maintain the general email inbox.
• Maintain spreadsheets and email records for all agent updates.
• Write and edit documents, including letters, reports, and instructional materials.
• Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
• Set up agent information in an internal program for online enrollment.
• Operate print shop equipment.
• Handle departmental shipping and receiving.
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex Teams, IBM AS400 (Client Access Solutions), Microsoft SharePoint, and other business applications.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift up to and exceed 50 pounds.
• This position may require occasional travel within a 10-mile radius between office locations as needed.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 - $18.00 per hr, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
