If you are focused on results, dedicated to quality, strength and integrity, and possess the drive to succeed, then we are your employer of choice.Job DescriptionAt Regions, the Business Analyst serves as an intermediary between the team and the assigned line of business.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupports more senior positions with advocacy for the business clients in all phases of the solution development lifecycle for each of the critical stages, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation follow upPerforms basic to intermediate analysis and works closely with the business clients to identify core business issues to map out possible solutionsDevelops a business case for action, defining the need, the method, and the benefits of proposed solutionsPerforms basic analysis to contribute to the development of the detailed requirements of the solution and to satisfy the business needWorks closely with the development team to refine the solution design, methods, and outcomesMonitors progress to ensure that the emerging solution meets the demands of the requirement documentSupports more senior Business Analysts in the resolution of any conflicts arising due to any technical deviations from the agreed requirementsWorks closely with the testing team to ensure that issues are identified and fully resolved prior to roll outMonitors and reports on how users are working with the solution during the implementation phase and recommends that modifications be made, where necessaryEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practicesThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related fieldOr High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of related experiencePreferencesExperience in business/system analysisSkills and CompetenciesAbility to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidanceAbility to learn additional systems as neededAbility to research, analyze data, and derive factsAbility to work in a team environment when applicableAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationWorking project management skillsThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
