Technology Transactions and Sourcing Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Technology Transactions and Sourcing practice group in Chicago, IL. The role involves structuring, negotiating, and closing complex commercial agreements related to technology and intellectual property across various industries. Duties Structure and negotiate complex commercial contracts and technology deals. Handle software licensing and cloud services agreements. Manage software, data, and IP development agreements. Negotiate channel, reseller, and distribution agreements. Conduct IP due diligence in M&A and financial transactions. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in technology transactions and sourcing. Experience with AI/ML, semiconductor development, and digital assets is welcome. Current law firm experience required. Superior academic credentials from a top-tier law school. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the state of Illinois. Skills Excellent analytical, writing, and project management skills.
