Enterprise Architect
Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is seeking an accomplished Enterprise Architect to lead technology modernization and cloud transformation for a major Propane Distribution enterprise. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of bridging business vision and IT execution across hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment between business strategy and IT initiatives.
- Oversee architecture governance, standards, and decision-making for enterprise technology programs.
- Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures across Azure and AWS, integrating on-premises systems.
- Drive digital transformation and modernization of legacy systems using containerization, microservices, and API-first principles.
- Manage complex integrations across systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Ariba, RightAngle, and Ortec.
- Develop and execute middleware strategies leveraging SAP BTP and SAP PI/PO for seamless enterprise integration.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards within the energy and utilities domain.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate business goals into actionable architecture blueprints.
- Balance innovation, performance, and cost efficiency while guiding architecture decisions.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure scalability, maturity, and strategic alignment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional technology teams.
- Lead architecture review boards and governance forums, effectively communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise or Solution Architecture roles.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity within Energy, Utilities, or Distribution industries.
- Proven expertise in SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP) and Microsoft Dynamics CRM architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, PI/PO, and enterprise middleware integration.
- Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS architecture, hybrid cloud models, and migration strategy.
- Experience with RightAngle and Ortec within supply chain or logistics platforms.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API management, and security frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
