Prater Way in Sparks, Nevada.This Recovery Room Registered Nurse opportunity is per diem on our PACU Unit and offers a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic PACU Registered Nurse (RN) that will help provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena. You will address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. This position communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory. Assesses operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
