The Role: A Balance of Action and Leadership

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your assigned shift. You will spend your time both overseeing staff and performing custodial duties to ensure our high standards are met.

Operations & Cleaning (60-70%)

• Hands-On Leadership: Perform core cleaning tasks (vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, etc.) alongside your team to keep the workflow moving.

• Site Stewardship: Manage supply inventory and maintain equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the next shift.

• Safety First: Ensure all safety protocols and chemical handling procedures are followed correctly, every time.

Leadership & Management (30-40%)

• Supervise & Train: Lead and evaluate a dedicated team, fostering a positive, productive, and respectful work environment.

• Quality Control: Conduct inspections to identify and resolve cleaning issues before the customer ever sees them.

• The "Face" of the Shift: Act as the primary contact for building leads and supervisors, handling inquiries with urgency and professionalism.

• Administration: Manage shift coverage, staff assignments, and digital timekeeping via company tools.

Your Background & Skills

• Professional Experience: You must have 2-3 years of proven experience in leadership/supervision and 2-3 years of experience in the cleaning/janitorial industry. (Please ensure these are clearly reflected on your resume).

• Mindset: You are "thick-skinned, but not thick-headed"-highly organized, able to multitask, and ready to solve problems proactively.

• Integrity: You do the right thing even when no one is looking and believe in "trusting but verifying" work quality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (required).

• Ability to pass a background screening.

• Basic computer skills (email and web-based reporting).

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, Start times of 4:00-5:00pm or 7:00-8:00pm
