Part-Time Sales Associate - Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC) Join the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s Fine Wine & Good Spirits team as a friendly, customer‑focused sales associate. You’ll serve as the face of the store, assisting shoppers with purchases, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in a fast‑paced retail environment. Salary: $17.38 hourly Location: Chester County, PA – Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store #1506, Ashbridge Square, 861 East Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, 19335 Job Type: Civil Service Permanent Part-Time Union: UFCW M1 Opening Date: 06/30/2026 / Closing Date: 7/9/2026 11:59 PM Eastern Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, helping shoppers find what they need. Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register. Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays. Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles. Safely lift products (30–50 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs), ensuring personal safety and product protection. Stand for extended periods. Keep the store clean and organized. Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers who are legally permitted to buy it. Work in a friendly, team‑oriented environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards. Schedule and Availability Preferred availability: 13–32 hours per week on a rotating basis, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. Typical shifts range from 4–8 hours. Scheduling details may change based on operational needs. Minimum of 13 hours per week required; up to 32 hours possible. Store access: Public transportation route #135, Business Route 30, nearby highway access, free staff parking, and close to dining options. No telework option for this position. You may be assigned to work in other stores within the county or district based on operational needs; applications are non‑transferable. Salary is fixed at the minimum listed and is not negotiable. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement. Ability to perform essential job functions.
