Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care within ophthalmology and oculofacial plastics specialties at a busy outpatient surgery center. Deliver compassionate, efficient patient care while maintaining clinical excellence and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preoperative and postoperative patient assessments and care plans.
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures aligned with ophthalmology and plastic surgery standards.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical notes accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with surgeons, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Support on-call duties, including staying late to complete cases and handling emergent situations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Demonstrate prior experience in ophthalmology and oculofacial plastics procedures.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in outpatient surgical settings.
• Show proficiency with EMR systems, such as Epic.
• Adapt quickly to high-paced environments and multitask effectively.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
