Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Entry Screening in East Saint Louis IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a chemical and petrochemical location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Bring your integrity teamwork and people-first mindset to a role that is agile reliable and innovative.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents alarms spills and other critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility grounds and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points verify credentials and/or visitor information and document arrivals departures and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Prepare clear reports on patrol activity incidents and/or maintenance or hazard observations and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
