Key Qualifications:

• Valid California CTC and CTE Licenses required
• Background in general education teaching or related teaching experience
• Proficiency in welding processes, shop safety, and industry-standard fabrication techniques
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Dedication to fostering a safe, dynamic, and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging CTE curriculum focusing on welding, fabrication, and shop safety
• Guide high school or adult students through hands-on projects aligned to industry standards
• Prepare students for welding industry certifications and career opportunities
• Supervise shop activities and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
• Collaborate with staff to support student learning and success
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate documentation
