Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Wisconsin Special Education license
• Experience or strong interest in teaching students across elementary (ES), middle (MS), high school (HS), and early childhood age groups
• Ability to manage and adapt to cross-categorical caseloads
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit with families and school teams
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based instruction to students in cross-categorical special education settings (HS, ES, MS, and early childhood)
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs tailored to each student’s unique learning goals and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to maximize student progress
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation, achievement, and confidence
• Maintain detailed records and ongoing assessment data to track and communicate student growth
• Engage in professional development and actively contribute to department initiatives
• Serve as an advocate and resource for students and families navigating special education services
