Registration and State Compliance Manager, College of Education

The Registration and State Compliance Manager supports the registration, and state compliance functions of the College of Education. This role collaborates with program directors, faculty, university offices, and state agencies to support candidate registration processes and State of Tennessee Dept of Education compliance.Primary ResponsibilitiesRegistration & Student ServicesCoordinate advising and registration support processes for College of Education students in all programs past the onboarding stageCollaborate with university personnel and program directors regarding course schedulingReview continuing student course registrations for accuracy and progression alignmentEnsure students have completed institutional graduation requirements and communicate graduation-related detailsManage and maintain the College of Education Student Information CenterUpdate course progression plans in collaboration with Program Directors and Lead Faculty when curriculum changes occurAudit and monitor student account holds and communicate with appropriate university offices and students regarding resolutionState Compliance & ReportingServe as a liaison between the College of Education and the Tennessee Department of Education regarding operational and compliance-related processesCoordinate and maintain required state documentation and reporting supportAssist with state reporting processes, including Tennessee Annual Report and Tennessee Educator Preparation Report Card data collectionSupport Specialty Area Program (SAP) documentation and state approval processesMonitor implementation of state policy updates impacting educator preparation programsCandidate Records & ComplianceMaintain candidate compliance records and documentation across all COE programsSupport background check tracking and documentation processesCollaborate with program directors and university personnel to support candidate progression and compliance requirements across all COE programsEnsure accuracy and organization of candidate records and operational dataCollaboration & OperationsCollaborate regularly with program directors, faculty, admissions, registrar, and university officesCommunicate operational deadlines, registration information, and compliance expectations to students and facultySupport operational processes connected to educator preparation programs and state requirementsAssist with additional College of Education operational and compliance initiatives as assignedReports To: Dean, College of EducationJob SummaryRequisition Number: REGIS003129Job Category: StaffSchedule: Full-Time
