Would you enjoy being involved on a wide variety of geological and environmental field tasks? Parsons is now hiring for our rapidly expanding environmental projects. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting various environmental projects in bringing effective solutions to complex environmental problems. Working with various clients and regulators in developing these solutions. Gaining technical experience as you work towards your professional geologist certification. Working with senior technical personnel and project manager to further your career goals. Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related field 3+ years of related work experience Familiarity with related environmental rules and regulations is preferred Requires a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communication skills Thorough understanding of all environmental rules and regulations Desired Skills Experience with emerging contaminants (e.g., PFAS and 1,4-dioxane) Experience with sediment investigation and remediation OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (and up to date refresher) training preferred. Fundamentals of Geology certification with goal of obtaining your Professional Geologist licensure. Security Clearance Requirement: None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
