Assembler

Job Title: Assembler Job Description
The assembler is responsible for assembling ACM flat panels, sky panels, and ceiling panels according to the supplied part drawing. Candidates will verify panel measurements, grain direction, and inspect panels for scratches, dents, or defects before assembly.
Responsibilities

• Ensure the panel is assembled per the supplied drawing and sign off on the back of the panel once it passes all quality standards.
• Keep fabrication tables free of debris and blow them off after each panel is fabricated.
• Ensure tools are not dropped on panels during fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Handle all panels with care during fabrication and use a team lift to carry panels safely to the crating area.
• Lift and turn panels only on their edges.
• Prepare and keep adequate amounts of installation supplies at the fabrication table.
• Maintain panel bender tools in good condition to avoid denting panels during fabrication.
• Perform various manual tasks in other departments as needed based on workload.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cartersville, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
