Machine Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry specializing in plastic and synthetic textile products, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the manufacturing department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay: $14-$16

Shift: Rotating Shift - will work one week morning, following week late shift, and the following week overnight.

What's the Job?

• Operate, monitor, and maintain machinery used in the production of plastic-based or synthetic textile products.
• Load raw materials such as polypropylene, polyester, or other fibers into machines according to production requirements.
• Adjust machine settings including temperature, speed, tension, and alignment to ensure optimal product quality.
• Inspect finished and in-process textile products for quality, strength, and uniformity.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently and safely.

What's Needed?

• Experience operating industrial or textile machinery preferred, especially with plastic or synthetic materials.
• Basic understanding of plastic processing, synthetic fibers, or textile production processes.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to read work orders, specifications, and process instructions accurately.
