Licensed Barbers provide full-service grooming for a diverse clientele, including straight-razor shaves, fades and modern cuts, classic cuts, and styling. This role combines technical barbering expertise with thoughtful consultations, efficient appointment management, high sanitation standards, and exceptional client service, with opportunities to advance into shop management.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-service grooming, including haircuts, styling, fades, modern cuts, classic cuts, shaving, and beard trimming.
- Perform straight-razor shaves using proper shaving techniques.
- Conduct client consultations to understand preferences and recommend suitable services and products.
- Manage appointments and client records using salon booking software and a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain sanitation procedures and a clean, organized workstation.
- Deliver attentive customer service and build lasting client relationships.
- Support client retention through consistent, high-quality service.
- Manage time effectively to support an efficient service schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of barbering experience.
- Current state barber license.
- Proficiency in clipper and scissor techniques.
- Demonstrated hair styling and shaving skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
- Strong customer service and consultation skills.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
